Mari Matsuda

Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center and an activist scholar who brings in the outsiders’ perspective

Mari specializes in the fields of torts, constitutional law, legal history, feminist theory, critical race theory, and civil rights law. She was the first tenured female Asian American law professor in the US at UCLA School of Law. Matsuda is the author of numerous books with Charles R. Lawrence III.
