Sally Satel

Sally Satel

M.D., Resident Scholar at AEI and a Psychiatrist at the Oasis Clinic in Washington, D.C.

Satel was an assistant professor of psychiatry at Yale University from 1988 to 1993. She has written widely in academic journals on topics in psychiatry and is the author of PC, M.D.: How Political Correctness Is Corrupting Medicine (2001), and is co-author of One Nation under Therapy (2005). Now, she is editing a book on donor compensation (AEI Press), an interest dating to 2006 when she received a kidney from a friend.
