Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 debates will be held at Kaufman Center, located at 129 W. 67th Street, just steps from Lincoln Center (on 67th Street b/w Broadway and Amsterdam). Click here for directions and parking information.
The full ticket price ($40) includes entrance to the pre-debate reception and priority access to seating. The reception begins at 5:45PM in the downstairs lobby of Kaufman Center’s Merkin Concert Hall. This is a great opportunity to socialize with like-minded New Yorkers and ignite stimulating discussion of the evening’s topic. There is a cash bar including soda, waters, and wine. At approximately 6:15PM, the auditorium doors will open and reception patrons have first access to general admission seating. All other ticket holders will be allowed access to the auditorium at 6:30PM followed by the debate starting at 6:45PM. Click here for directions and parking information.

Yes, all seating is general admission with the exception of the preferred seating section reserved for our benefactors (to learn more about how to become a sponsor of Intelligence Squared U.S., click here). Kaufman Center’s concert hall includes both orchestra and balcony seating – view the seating chart.
You can download or stream the edited radio broadcast (as heard on NPR) or the unedited audio from the AUDIO/VIDEO section of each individual debate page or subscribe to the Intelligence Squared podcast series on iTunes. Debate audio is usually available one week from the live event.
All debates can be watched directly on the AUDIO/VIDEO section of each individual debate page. Video is typically available 1-2 weeks after each debate. DVDs are also available for sale on our website.
Starting with our fall 2011 season, Intelligence Squared US debates will be broadcast on WNET/Thirteen, NJTV and WLIW. The debates usually within 2 weeks of the live recording and air repeatedly throughout the week and weekend. Check here for your local listings.

Yes, we have four levels of support—Friends can be Bright, Brilliant, a Genius or a Polymath. All levels include preferred seating at the debates.
