Dalié Jiménez is the Student Loan Law Initiative Director and Professor at the University of California, Irvine School of Law. She previously worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, working on debt collection, debt relief, credit reporting, and student loan issues. Jiménez chairs the Association of American Law Schools’ (AALS) Section on Consumer and Commercial Law as well as the Law & Society Association’s Household Finance collaborative research network. She earned her juris doctorate at Harvard Law School.
